I
have been trying to learn how to gain patience while waiting for my dreams and goals to develop. And some days it isn’t easy. I also have been learning
the true meaning of perseverance. I am holding steadfast to my planned course
of action at the same time learning endurance.
Learning How to Achieve Patience
To control the beast of apprehension with-in, I believe a person must have faith in the power of the universe
and the divine. A person must learn to let go of thinking they have total control
on all actions and have total faith in the divine. You must let go of the ego
and cultivate faith.
A
while back I was having a problem trying to figure out what general direction I wanted my life to go as far as future career
endeavors and how I was going to get there. I had a good friend set me straight and told me this. You have to
use meditation and manifestation and faith in the power of the universe. Believe
me! I took his advice. My mentor demonstrates a lot of patience dealing with
me.
At
the same time having patience while trying to achieve your goals can be quite strenuous and enduring. When I’m really having a problem of being patience I will sit down and meditate on the accomplishments
that I already have made. A person doesn’t realize how far you have
come until you start to add them up. If you have been working on your dreams
and goals diligently, you will have quite a list already. For me personally I came a long way already. Count your blessings and give thanks for them!
I found some quotes and bible verses on perseverance, faith and
patience.
A
tree so big it can fill the span of a man’s arms
grows
from a tiny sprout.
A
terrace nine stories high
rises
from a shovelful of earth.
A
journey of a thousand miles
begins
with one step.
Thus,
one of integral virtue
never
sets about grandiose things,
yet
he is able to achieve great things.
Lao
Tzu
Do
not brag about tomorrow,
because
you do not know what another day may bring.
Proverbs

but
anyone in a hurry to get rich
will
not escape punishment.

not
