There are studies concluding that organic Tulsa (Holy Basil) tea can help fight the effects of stress.  It is also loaded with antioxidants. The Holy Basil plant is native to India.  There is even talk that some folks have used it to cook with.  Some use it for a calming effect. It has medicinal properties and is used as an ayurvedic remedy. I guess I use it for all the benefits it has to offer.  The taste of it reminds me of chewing on a piece of tall grass back on the farm.  With a bit of honey taste added.   I usually drink it hot.  But today I made up a double amount and chilling it.  That way I can sip it through the day.

With the clear skies last night, the lunar eclipse was awesome.  Unfortunately the clear skies also brought -22 below 0 temperatures here in northern Wisconsin.  The next lunar eclipse will happen in 2010.  I guess in August this year there will be a total solar eclipse. There are ancient myths of lunar eclipses.  It seems they all relate to wild animals some how.  Wolves, bears, mountain lions.  One fighting the other.  Or man fighting with other men or animals.

Hindu mythology believes that the mythological demons Rahu and Ketu cause the entire ruckus with the solar and lunar eclipses.
