I just uploaded a new song
to the SnoCap music store called Soft Rain Falling. This song features the Native
American style flute, a tongue drum, and some nature sounds like thunderstorms.
The tongue drum I personally made. This is the first time I ever recorded
with it.
I learned the craft of tongue
drum making this past year. This particular style is also known as the
slit drum. I have been thinking of making a log slit drum out of a piece of Cherry
wood that I have found in the Chequamegon. This style of drumming has been
part of the African culture and other indigenous cultures of the world.

This song will be included on the Eagle’s Wing CD which should be released in the near future.
