Topic: hiking and outdoors
I went into the forest yesterday to enjoy the beauty that surrounds and to harvest some Black Cherry wood. The sun warm the earth yesterday in northern Wisconsin and it was beautiful. A light wind laughed in the trees rattling the fall leaves. A shadow was cast down out of the blue tranquil skies on the ground. Looking up I found a pair of young Bald Eagles were playing tag with each other while riding the air currents.
Yogi tea thought for today;
Self-reliance conquers any difficulty.
I was fortunate to learn that lesson early on my path. It seems that more that a person is self-reliant or independent, the more that can be accomplished. That doesn’t mean that one can’t be helpful or giving so others can overcome difficult times. Sometimes when one becomes reliant on oneself being helpful and giving to others is forgotten. Personally I had a good teacher to remind me to be giving. I still have a ways to go.
